DISTRICT LEGAL SERVICES AUTHORITY, KOKRAJHAR

In terms of the direction of National Legal Services Authority, a National Lok Adalat is being organised by District Legal Services Authority, Kokrajhar on 9th December, 2023 in the court premise of the District Judiciary, Kokrajhar and Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Court, Gossaigaon.

Pre-litigation matters have been taken up for settlement by various institutions like Indian Bank, Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Bank of Boroda, State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Uco Bank, Punjab National Bank, A.P.D.C.L, B.S.N.L. etc.

Pending cases has been taken up from different Courts of the District for settlement. The taken up cases are like MACT cases, NI Act cases, Matrimonial cases, Civil Cases as well as Criminal Compoundable Cases including M.V. Cases.

The District Legal Services Authority, Kokrajhar has requested the stakeholders and litigants to participate for amicable settlement of the dispute.
